86 Office bearers leave AAP on Monday citing the dictatorial behavior of AAP’s Delhi member. They also hinted joining, Navjot Singh Sidhu led Awaaz- E- Punjab party soon. AAP’s Amritsar zone in-charge, Gurinder Singh Bajwa, said “It was a difficult decision, but we decided to resign en masse from the primary membership of AAP,” according to The Times of India.
He also said that 80% of AAP party member from punjab have left the party and about to join Awaaz-E-Punjab, Because, at this time Awaaz-e-Punjab is the only party, who is more concern about people of Punjab.
AAP’s former Amritsar in-charge Bajwa also mention that, AAP worker from other zone will follow them soon and they would also join the, “Punjab Parivartan Yatra” led by Succha Singh Chottepur.
It is important to know that Chhotepur was removed from a convener post of AAP Punjab, over the sting operation, where he was allegedly caught in video taking bribe for ticket from AAP. Chotepur, however, denied the allegation, claiming that he had merely taken party funds. He was replaced by Gurpreet Singh Ghuggi.
