Trouble is going to go down for AAP party, their MLA from Ohkla Amanatullah Khan got arrested by Jamia Nagar Police, over allege case of molestation & sexual harassment.
Yesterday he went to the Jamia Nagar police station to surrender, but the police there refused to arrest him.
“We will not arrest him now. Whatever he is doing is of his own accord. We will go by our investigation,” a senior police officer said. Sources
Amanatullah Khan was previously also been in controversy, was arrested in July for allegedly threatening a 35-year-old woman with dire consequences, but was later granted bail. Amanatullah khan is also a chairmen of Waqf borad, Some month’s back, Anti corruption b euro has done a raid in waqf board, over allegation of corruption.Source
This case was filed by his sister in law, Where she said that, he was harassing her sexually and threatening her to get physical with him, since past couple of years.
A case under Sections 354(A)(sexual harassment), 506 (punishment for criminal intimidation), 509 (word, gesture or act intended to insult the modesty of a woman), 120B (punishment of criminal conspiracy) and 498A (husband or relative of husband of a woman subjecting her to cruelty) of IPC.
