Good company can chase away boredom but, good company at a good place is an elixir that cures all. This list is for those breaks that are so long that the concept of relaxing and sleeping just seems dull. The days when you put Dil Chahta Hain and Yeh Jawani Hain Deewani on a loop and just wish to hit the road with a bunch of your friends. This article is the very bucket list you need to possess and revisit every such time.

1GOA

A shack on the beach with your friends by your side is more than enough to chase away the pall. This place has something for everything. For the brave hearts there are watersports, for the night owls there are clubs and for those just looking to laze around, there is the beach. It is needless to say but you may just find that Sunburn is the best time to visit Goa.

2Rishikesh

Rafting down the Ganges and camping in the wilderness attracts thousands of tourists to visit Rishikesh every year. Amidst this add the Brady bunch you are with and the fun won’t stop. It would be one of those trips where you will come back with a jar full of memories, whose mention alone would fill up any occasion with laughter.

Manali is a city located in the laps of the mountains and drained by the Beas. many markets and temples are the tourist hubs of Manali. A day spent at the Rohtang pass is a day well spent. Now many trekking and camping trips also leave from the city to the snow laden peaks in the vicinity.

9An Expedition in Your Own City

India is a country where each place is as charming as the previous one. A place so diverse can never be summed up in a list. Chasing away the pall need not take you off the grid for a week. Find that place near your city that does the same for you. For example, a person from Ajmer may go to Pushkar to find a small getaway, a person from Delhi may find themselves traveling to Murthal or a person from Jaipur may just up and leave to Ranthambore for a weekend. The places near you are the one that is maximum fun.

10 Rajasthan, Jaisalmer

It is an annual cultural music festival organized in Jaisalmer. Amidst the sand dunes of Jaisalmer, there are stages set up presenting music art and photography. The guests would find themselves being surrounded by the diverse Rajasthani culture.

But if you really want to experience the thrill to kick boredom to the curb, it would be highly recommended to just get up and leave. Leave but don’t plan. A destination restricts you to follow a set path and well where is the fun in it. The thrill of the unknown is always the best way to plant excitement in life. You may just end up finding that one places that are not even on this list but would just become the solution to all those tediously long nights.
