Indian Army has killed three terrorists of Lashkar-e-Taiba, by making surveillance and following them for 2 days. The incident is from the Arvani area of Kashmir.

In these three people, two people were active members of the Lashkar and one was their local helper. The main militant in them was Shaukat Lohar who was commander of ‘LeT’ in Naugam area. He joined a terrorist organization in 2016. The other terrorist who got killed with him was  Muzaffar Hazim. Muzaffar was associated with LeT this year. Both of them have been handlers of Bashir Lashkari, commander of ‘Lashkar’.

This operation was executed by 19 Rashtriya Rifles.  Anantnag district is the responsibility of this unit. They have been very effective in this area. This unit has succeeded in many anti-terrorist operations in past 2 months. More recently, this unit had killed LeT terrorist Bashir Lashkari. In July this unit has sent 11 terrorists into hell.

In order to crack down on militants, this unit took the help of the technical cell of the Jammu and Kashmir Police. A very close associate of Shaukat Loharar was traced. His mobile phone was intercepted & through him, all his activities were being monitored. Like with whom does he talk to, with whom he lives etc.. During such a conversation, the army came to know whereabouts of  Shaukat Lohar and in an ambush 19 Rashtriya Rifles killed him.
